Popular general riding bit
Mild, no leverage action
Useful in training a young horse, general riding, and the beginning stages of dressage
How it works: Like most snaffle bits the action is on the bars of the mouth.
The shape of the cheeks prevents the bit from pinching the horse's lips.
The jointed mouth piece exerts a nut cracker effect when the bit is engaged, pressing on the tongue and roof of the mouth.
There is no curb or leverage action, making this a mild bit.
Lightweight, with a thicker mouth piece that makes it less sharp in the horse's mouth.
Stainless steel.
